Hi,

One last question about beancount, then I'll stay off the list for a while
:).

I understand that I can create whatever commodities I want and then assign
them a cost, for example:

2014-07-09 price VACHR 38.46 USD ; Equiv. $80,000 year

But is there a way that I can invert this, and then view my expense list
(or a tagged group of expenses) in another unit? Specifically, I'd like to
create a commodity:

2014-07-09 price USD 1/307.68 WORKDAY ; 80k=307/day.
2014-07-09 price USD 0.025 VACHR ; if VACHR = ~40 USD, then USD = 1/40 VACHR

Then, I'd like to see how many days or weeks (in vacation days or USD) I
spent in my Expense:Foo account or #some-vacation tag? I think the answer
is "not yet", but it will exist when this ticket is closed:
https://bitbucket.org/blais/beancount/issues/103/make-the-balance-sheet-and-income

I'm still not clear on all the features in beancount, so I'm asking here
just in case this is implemented.
FYI, I read the long thread on the reason for the docs in google docs.
Overall it seems like a net pro, but one issue not mentioned is that google
doesn't seem to index google docs. When I google for "gnucash X" I get a
clear page of text about feature X. That is not the case with beancount.

-k.
