As a follow up to my last email, one of the components in the BeagleBone Black Industrial Bill of Materials has a temperature range of -20C to 85C. -20C is a higher temperature than what is specified for the BBBI-4G on element14's website (-40C to 85C). The component in question is part number TDA19988BHN/C1,551 Reference Designator U11. It is the HDMI transmitter.
My question is how will the BBBI operate below -20C? If we are not using video, will the BBBI function normally below -20C? Will the video start working normally again once the temperature goes above -20C? Thanks!
