Hey guys, I created a post before but can't find it. Maybe something gone wrong...
I bought two CAN-Capes and followed the intructions on the website (http://www.waveshare.com/wiki/RS485_CAN_CAPE). But the communication is still not working. Using 'cansend' on the first and 'candump' on the other does'nt show anything. My steps: 1. Installed the debian image 2. I followed all steps and brung the interfaces up 2.1. I didn't use the BOOT Button on the cape, because the Board doesn't boot when I press the button. The power LED is on but nothing else happens. 2.2 The interfaces get up and the voltage between the two CAN (H,L)-wires is 0 V (this is right for the CAN-standard) I am new to the Linux world and don't know how to fix bugs and find out what's wrong with the Board or SW.
