Note due to some "2GB" being smaller then others, the "2GB" image is more around "1.7GB". You can expand the system and get more space via: http://elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBoneBlack_Debian#Expanding_File_System_Partition_On_A_microSD Or just use a 4GB microSD card. Remember the official debian image has a lot of other stuff installed to meet everyone's requirements, so you can always remove stuff.
