Hi Reaz, Firstly, you shouldn't use RedHat 9. It is too old, and neither is well supported by community or RedHat. By SDK, I suppose you mean JDK (I haven't heard of any 'Sun Development Kit'). I pressume you want to install JDK.
You should be able to download JDK from sun.java.com. The have both 'rpm' and 'bin' edition. I think either one should work for you. I do not get the NB part of your message. If you want to install JDK, then how come it is searching for the JAVA_HOME environmental variable... please clarify.
