Robin followed, commenting that the other 2 in the trilogy are better & that she enjoyed them. Patty & Rick & the secretary agreed. Gerry commented that the 6 books Brin has written in that universe are: Sundiver, Startide Rising, The Uplift War, Brightness Reef, Infinity's Shore & Heaven's Reach. Gayle has only read 'Brightness Reef' and enjoyed everything in it but the ending. Trey commented about the concept of the Uplift protocol & found 'Startide Rising' & 'Uplift War' to be good books with excellent ideas & has found all 6 to be worth reading. and he reviewed a low-budget movie called 'Aporia' as a sort of time travel plot with so-so special effects, but speculating about interesting ramifications about altering the past & what it would do to the present. It's full of 'what ifs' & it drew him in.
