REVIEWS:

Yochanan reviewed 'The Sirens of Titan' by Kurt Vonnegut Jr as enjoyable &
very deep, with good world-building & highly recommended;
& he reviewed the movie 'Asteroid City' as wasn't very impressed
with it & worth matinee

Ken followed with a great quip from the audience he saw it with
& also was not overly impressed by it
& Yochanan reviewed a Netflix TV series, 'The Silent Sea' that he
thinks is doing a really, really good job & he highly recommends it; check
= https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11570202/
& Yochanan reviewed Baycon as he had the best time there &
appreciated their masking policy & very much enjoyed meeting people there &
highly recommends going; Craig followed, also recommending BayCon; Lisa
also went & also had a good time - her only complaint being that she
couldn't be in multiple places at the same time; and many other people also
spoke to the topic, all positive - except for the parking & pricing on food
on site there
& Yochanan reviewed seeing 'The Cabin in the Woods' as he was very
pleased with it & highly recommends it, even if you don't like horror or
monster movies; see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1259521/
& Yochanan reviewed visiting the Computer History Museum & was blown
away with how wonderful & amazing the place was, spending more than 5 hours
there and still felt as though he could have stayed longer & highly
recommends going there; Craig followed, also highly recommends visiting

Rick reviewed 'Silo' on Apple+ TV, as an excellent streaming TV series
based closely (so far) on Hugh Howey's dystopian, indy-published trilogy
"Wool" & he is enjoying it. check = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14688458/

Trey reviewed the first season of 'Ted Lasso', seen on Apple+ TV, as he is
enjoying watching it & it reminds him of the movie 'The Replacements' & he
recommends it

Lisa reviewed seeing Stuido Ghibli's 'Nausicaa & the Valley of the Winds'
as really gorgeous, with a truly good story & she really loved it & it's
available on DVD. The secretary followed = Make sure to get the full
version & not the hacked up version released about 20 years ago with
terrible dubbing. Duncan commented that Studio Ghibli inspires him to
learn Japanese
check =

& Lisa mentioned she plans to see 'Castle in the Sky' next week; check

we adjourned at 8:52pm

and the rumor of the week was = 'Debate about Pizza is like religious
debate'
