ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Ken announced that the Palo Alto players have revealed their fall season
schedule:
Palo Alto Players 2023/24 Season
September: Matilda the Musical
November: Wizard of Oz
January: Misery
April: The Music Man
June: Murder on the Orient Express

REVIEWS:

Ken reviewed a Palo Alto Players performance: 'Spongebob the Musical' as
the show was surprisingly deep, with good acting. He recommends it and it
plays through May 14th. He said their next show in June is Puffs (7 years
at a famous school of magic and magic...)

Lisa reviewed 'Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812' - based on 2
chapters from 'War and Peace' & is a comedy of errors romance. The live
performance is closer to an opera, with all live music. Lisa thought it
was wonderful & highly recommends it. They are playing until May 28.

Rick said that 'Citadel' is now showing on Amazon Prime. It's a super-spy
thriller series & has allegedly been very well reviewed

Kennita reviewed 'John Wick, Chapter 4' as there were lots of fights and
stunts and people really earned their paychecks. She mentioned there were
multiple fight choreographers. The plot gets convoluted but it's never
dull & is definitely worth matinee, or even full price
Craig followed, saying that movie theatres should offer bathrooms
adjacent to each screen that play the sound therein so that a mid-movie
visit to the necessary does not leave the viewer wondering what they missed

we adjourned at 8:27pm

and the rumor of the week was = 'The Grand Canyon will continue to be a
large terrain feature'
