Further clarification about this, in part because *I* was a little confused: Netflix has for a long time promised a series based on the series of novels -- since 2020, when it acquired the rights, with some very good people involved, and with a planned order of 24 episodes of about 60 minutes in length. News has occasionally emerged, but nothing has yet been released. As you said, this is the effort pointed to by your _second_ IMDB link. Meanwhile, the 30-episode Chinese series "Three-Body" _is_ out, is reportedly (according to Mike Hale's review in the NY Times, https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/03/arts/television/three-body-review.html) a stunner, and is available (with English subtitles) in the USA on a service called "Rakuten Viki". _______________________________________________ Basfa mailing list Basfa@lists.basfa.org http://lists.basfa.org/listinfo.cgi/basfa-basfa.org
