***NEW*** ZOOM Meeting Registration link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZckc--rqj4sG9cRuFWIpeMknSsAxghBFh0T Called to order at 8 pm 18 varied beings attended The minutes of meeting 1666 were accepted as 'Unredacted evidence of Collusion!' the actual Treasurer was here & the report is that we have money: Regular: $15,748.81; Party: $230.58 Money can be sent to salve guilt via Paypal - sent to = dwgalla...@gmail.com the VP had nothing fannish to report except that the BASFA mailing list is working again the President had nothing fannish to report ANNOUNCEMENTS: Lisa announced that she is allowed to drive again - & there was much rejoicing Yochanan announced that Silicon is coming up at the end of the month & announced that tomorrow is the service & burial for his father Fred announced that he has his ice cream & announced that he & Robin will be in the area this next weekend & suggested coordinating a get-together Ken announced that he won't be here next week & he also announced that then the NEXT Friday after this is the 4th Friday of the month, so there will be a meeting of the Legion of Rasselon live in person at the Dennie's on Bascom in Milpitas on Abbott Rd, near the 880 freeway, at 7:30pm - wear a mask - for more info check their Facebook page REVIEWS: Yochanan reviewed 3rd season of 'The Orville' on Hulu & considered it to be amazing & that the episodes were of varying lengths & he really enjoyed it & highly recommends it - Ken wholeheartedly agrees & he also reviewed a Disney Plus show called 'Ms Marvel' as 'different & interesting' & slightly more juvenile than others in the Marvel line & is a good series, but not a great series - Rick followed-on that that there are a lot of nice little touches in the show & he enjoyed it; John O followed, saying that the source material is reasonably new, from the last decade & he likes that the character is young & has enjoyed the show & he highly recommends it - Chris O & Ken really loved it too https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ms._Marvel_(TV_series) & Yochanan also reviewed Andre Norton's 'Time Traders' as a very good time travel novel - with several BASFAns following-on, agreeing the the book was very good & is the start of a series: The Time Traders (1958) Galactic Derelict (1959) The Defiant Agents (1962) Key Out of Time (1963) For more information check = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Time_Traders Howeird reviewed all 6 episodes of CNN's 'Patagonia' as the series is exceptionally well-made & he highly, highly recommends it & feels it's worth full price, even with Cox cable.
