REVIEWS:

Rick reviewed the HBO Max 8 episode series 'Peacemaker' as violent,
profane, well-written, amusing & extremely entertaining and that John Cena
acts well in it. He rated it as delightful throughout.

Yochanan reviewed a Disney Plus show called 'The Book of Boba Fett' as
okay. It has a lot of fan service & is not bad, but not on his favorites
list. He considers it a must-see if you are a Star Wars fan. Craig
followed that he saw it & considers it as still, basically, the Mandalorian
& Yochanan reviewed 'All of Us are Dead', a Korean import on Netflix & has
a similar feel to Squid Games, but is about zombies & is super violent &
can be seen either subtitled or dubbed & he recommends it, if you like
violence or zombies

Howeird reviewed the Olympics closing ceremony as nowhere near as
technologically advanced as the opening ceremony but full of hope & he was
impressed at how energetic the volunteers were. He was disappointed that
the NBC hosts just would not shut up & also disappointed that there was no
Chinese music presented during the ceremony;
Ken followed that the Italy presentation was dizzying - in not a good way -
the secretary followed that the USA channel showed nearly 24 hour a day
coverage & had some excellent LACK of narrator drivel during events & was
quite good
Gayle enjoyed the skiing & short track skating & finds the acrobatic skiing
was mind-boggling & mentioned that the Women's 30K had a Minnesota gal get
the Bronze medal & she wishes she could have see more
Kennita commented that she thought that it looked like China chose Western
music to garner better TV ratings
Gerry commented that the women's 30K Silver medalist also won an earlier
sprint skiing competition - which is astonishing, considering how different
the 2 sports are

John O reviewed the 4th installment of the Hotel Transylvania movie series,
'Transformania', as a very silly movie wherein hijinks ensued. He rated it
as a lot of fun & worth having Amazon Prime to see it; Yochanan commented
that he found it fun, if you have some free time, especially if you have
kids

Rick reviewed Marvel's Hit Monkey on Hulu as animated & well-drawn,
interesting and entertaining & worth your time spent watching it. Yochanan
followed, saying he saw it and thinks it is fun

we adjourned at 8:42 pm

and the rumor of the week was = 'There is no truth to the rumor that Ang
Lee will direct The Pandalorian'
