Subject: [Basfa] Warp Drive Chocolate Pie

Greetings, Earthlings!

I send you good vibes and wishes to brighten your day, and a recipe to jump
start your day.  Recipe is courtesy of Frank Reid, from FB Group Callahan's
Crosstime Saloon.

Warp Drive Chocolate PiePrep time: 5 minutes
Chill time: 3 hours in refrigerator

IngredientsOne pack   Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips, 12 oz
5                egg yolks
3 Tbsp       Brandy, Kahlua or Gran Marier1 tsp           vanilla1 1/2 cups
heavy creamOne 8"       Oreo cookie or Graham cracker crust

Put chocolate chips, egg yolks, brandy and vanilla in a blender.  Blend on low
for one minute.
Heat the heavy cream just to boiling, ~ 3 minutes in the microwave.  Pour this
into the blender with the chocolate mixture and blend on high for one minute.
Pour this into the graham cracker crust.
Chill for three hours uncovered in the fridge.

Optional Topping
Raspberry Drizzle         Heat fresh raspberries and powdered sugar, mash
together and sieve. Drizzle over the Warp Drive Chocolate Pie.
An orange flavored drizzle pairs well when using Gran Marnier for the pie.

Cheers!
-D.

Note: This pie is intense. Smaller slices of pie are recommended, ~ 1 1/2" .
Normal size slices may lead to chocolate overdose.
