The minutes of meeting 1556 were accepted as 'minutes'

the Treasurer was not present, but rinse & repeat = our totals are =
regular total is $15,632.83; party total is $230.58

the VP had nothing fannish to report

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Gerry announced that SpaceX finally launched its Korean spy satellite today
& everything went well; Craig followed, saying the landing was the most
accurate ever

John O announced that only 2 more days to get your Hugo ballots in for
ConZealand

Howeird announced that it is officially monsoon season in LasVegas

Lisa announced that Costume Con 39 is discussing their upcoming con on
Facebook.  It's still being planned for April of next year at present & may
end up being a hybrid convention, so come to their FB page if you want to
have input

REVIEWS:
John O reviewed enjoying watching Netflix's "Eurovision Song Contest: The
Story of Fire Saga" - a fictionalized movie with some fantasy elements in
it & starring Will Ferrell & highly recommended; Ken followed-on with a 2nd
recommendation for it & then John reviewed "What we Do in the Shadows, the
TV series' as it did not originally grab them, but they watched it again &
after the 1st 3 episodes they really enjoyed it & is sometimes absolutely
hilarious - he definitely recommends it

Dave Wallis reviewed 'Emergency Skin' by N. K. Jemisin as he has read it
and it's good, definitely worth reading

Beth reviewed that she has been watching the Marvel Netflix TV series - has
seen Daredevil season one & Jessica Jones season one - and has enjoyed them
a great deal

Fred reviewed watching a livestream with Mary Robinette Kowal & Katie Mack
- as the conversation was excellent & he recommends listening to it if you
can find it
