Called to order at 8pm 20 undifferentiated beings attended The minutes of meeting 1555 were accepted as 'accepted' the Treasurer was not present, but we took in nothing last week & our totals are = regular total is $15,632.83; party total is $230.58 the VP had nothing remarkable to report the President had nothing fannish to report There was a question about the next month and Zoom meetings & the answer was - this will be determined ANNOUNCEMENTS: Trey announced that he is ready for movie theatres to open, Craig is much less so since he enjoys the movie experience in-home REVIEWS: Howeird reviewed the 1st 5 episode of 'The Boys' on Amazon Prime as the production values are superb, it's not safe for anything but is highly entertaining with good characters, well-written & fun to watch & he would pay to see it, even if he wasn't getting it for free; John O followed that he has seen the whole series and enjoyed it very much, very well acted & with a great story, Craig followed that he isn't a fan of blood and gore but really liked this series & really highly recommends it, Chris O saw a few episodes but it was not for her Gerald reviewed Jacinda Ardern - the PM of New Zealand - as she has handled disasters, Covid & terrorist attacks with extraordinary competence & views her very positively Fred reviewed that his Hugo readings are not going well & he has not clicked with any of the most recent ones & that the only one he enjoyed has been 'The City in the Middle of the Night' by Charlie Jane Anders Gayle reviewed having had interesting hallucination after her surgery & also reviewed helpful tools that Gerry bought at hospital as recommended we adjourned at 8:30 pm Rumor of the week was = 'There is NOTHING common about THIS century' -- ******************* She/whispered/'Oh/my/goodness/what/are/all/these/squirrels/doing/here?' melc...@gmail.com *******************
