Fred reported that Mike Ward had broken his leg. Mike had undergone surgery and would be back in the Bay Area mid-January. Kevin reported that December 29 SF in SF would be having a showing of the Doctor Who specials The Christmas Carol and The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe at the Variety Children’s Theater in the Hobart Building, 582 Market Street in San Francisco. The Tiki Dalek would be there. The doors would open at 4, events start at 5. Someone noted that the party at the House of Spike would be the same evening, with details on the mailing list. Lisa reported that Jack Klugman had died. Jo reviewed a party Friday night as “good” and noted that things had been burned. Kevin reviewed the end of the Mayan calendar as underwhelming, but the beginning as worth full price. Jo reported that they’d just very painfully retrieved a domain from Network Solutions. A bag of cables went to Fred for twenty-five cents. It will be donated to Goodwill.
