Hello, it's possible that you're hit by a bug that has been fixed with this PR: https://github.com/bareos/bareos/pull/2152
This mean that backups which have been taken with the plugin before this fix, could be incomplete and may not be recoverable, especially big VMs and high random read-write I/O workloads are more probable to be affected by this. The fix is included in the packages on https://download.bareos.org/current/ As a hotfix, the plugin can be downloaded separately from https://github.com/bareos/bareos/blob/master/core/src/plugins/filed/python/vmware/bareos-fd-vmware.py replace /usr/lib64/bareos/plugins/bareos-fd-vmware.py (or /usr/lib/bareos/plugins/bareos-fd-vmware.py) by the file downloaded on the system running the plugin. To ensure consistent backups, it is recommended to run new full level jobs with the fixed plugin, as backups taken with previous versions may have an inconsonsistent state when restored.
