I also had trouble installing bareos-fd, sd and tray-monitor on Windows 
Server. Visual c++ dependancies was not installed, service did not start, 
error messages and stuff.
Then I tried to install the cross-compiled version, and it worked 
perfectly. Might give it a shot.
