Hi,

I update our bareos system on a regular basis and this works without problems.
Most of the time I do a short status check over the web ui.
There I can see the if the actual version was updated, but this seems to me to be an error in thinking and only affects the version of the UI.

Today I updated to the latest version 24.0.1~pre19.3e3a7a6a2-19 and had to check some things with the console.

In the console I see this:

Connecting to Director localhost:9101
 Encryption: TLS_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256 TLSv1.3
1000 OK: bareos-dir Version: 24.0.1~pre10.a2e4f6ebf (22 December 2024)
Bareos community build (UNSUPPORTED).

-> the old version is still loaded.

Question.
Do I have to manually restart all bareos processes after every update?
My thinking was that this is part of the update if necessary. -> possible my fault.

Best

Silvio
