Hi,
i'm trying to take over a bareos 22 setup with a split config file where
each user has his own config file (for data privacy reasons). This
results in the folders "fileset" and "job" each having about 800
individual files. When i run a test of the config files, i get the
following error message:
/usr/sbin/bareos-dir --test-config
bareos-dir: CONFIG ERROR at lib/lex.cc:872
Config error: Cannot open included config file : Too many open files
What am i doing wrong?
You're trying to open too many files :)
Check "ulimit -n" which will probably say "1024". You can usually
configure this in /etc/security/limits.conf or by creating an additional
file in /etc/security/limits.d/
Hope that helps!
Best Regards,
Andreas
