Yep Maximum Concurrent Jobs removed the warning message. Nothing I appear to do makes the tray monitor actaully show up. Is this a known issue on Windows 11? It’s not the end of the world as it’s almost never used, I just like having it there, it’s just odd that the FD shows the connection from the monitor but no actual monitor showing up.
I had restarted the service, restarted the monitor, several reboots, no change, Brock Palen [email protected] www.mlds-networks.com Websites, Linux, Hosting, Joomla, Consulting > On Dec 23, 2024, at 5:31 AM, Bruno Friedmann (bruno-at-bareos) > <[email protected]> wrote: > > The warning is certainly due to now deprecated parameters. > > to shut off the warning you can remove the following line in myself.conf > bareos-fd client configuration > Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 20 > > About the system tray, while the app seems to be started it is not visible, > you might have to change the settings from off > to on, and you must logout login to see a change. > > Hope this help. > On Monday, 23 December 2024 at 06:02:12 UTC+1 Brock Palen wrote: > I’m setting up my first Windows 11 bareos client, > > FD works fine, I’m able to check on it’s status from the director, I can > estimate jobs, I can run jobs. > > Two issues when I do > > status client=win11-fd > > I get: > > There are WARNINGS for this filedaemon's configuration! > See output of 'bareos-fd -t' for details. > > > I stop it and try running it manually using > > bareos-fd.exe -c C:\ProgramData\Bareos -f -t > > and it prints nothing, If I throw on debugging -d 10 I get debugging output > but nothing that gives me an idea what’s wrong. > > I did modify the Director configuration.
