The why is when you are in the run script post state, the initial job is still not finished for Bareos and changes still happen afterwards. You really don't want to try hard to confuse your database and Bareos installation. Some have tried and get hardly backfired ;-) Typically for that kind of things, you may want to check if you can run copy job with selection pattern https://docs.bareos.org/Configuration/Director.html#config-Dir_Job_SelectionPattern This should be modular enough to cover all your case.
