return value 42 means BEXIT_CONFIG_ERROR
(see
https://github.com/bareos/bareos/blob/master/core/src/include/exit_codes.h#L30)
So probably something is wrong with your configuration.

If the proble only exists after the restart, and before it worked I could imagine that you database
server was not started after the reboot.
