Hi,

I just tried to restore some files with the bareos web-gui and after configuring the settings for restore the file selections is running and running and running... for about 2 and a half hours now. The backup job from which I want to restore is a large one with about 615 GB total and a lot of files. The hardware seems not to be the issue, load average ist about 1.00, there is free RAM left and one cpu core is running at 100% (PostgreSQL). So, is there a way to speed this up? Database config optimization, or something like this? Am I the only one with such large backup jobs (hope not)?

It could be a real showstopper if I only want to restore some little config files from a large backup and it takes half a working day only to select the files. The restore itself takes eventually only a few minutes (from disk).

Best regards
Marco
