Still, I'm not sure of how having a separate group for ladies could help more women to learn Python. This is going to be my personal opinion, though. If we (ladies) have different needs in learning Python/programming than our counterparts, then it makes sense to have a separate group. For example, it makes more sense, IMO, to have a pyfreshers group than pyladies, where people who're starting with Python don't need to hesitate to ask/discuss basic doubts/questions. When we're aspiring to learn and share the same thing in a no different way than others, why a separate group? I think, if we have any concerns/suggestions to make BangPypers more woman friendly, they can be posted and discussed here. We are already a part of larger Python world and I doubt if we need a separate identity first and then to bridge the gap later. We could take from the larger community and give back to the same.
