Would you please clearly state your problem, rather than giving out contradictory information in bits and pieces? Earlier you had said that the problem was on Ubuntu, but now it seems that it is on CentOS. Similar to the answer there, the normal thing would be to install the geoip package for CentOS, provided there is such a package. In this case, you should not need to set GEOIP_LIBRARY_PATH. If there isn't a CentOS package, and you installed geoip on CentOS yourself, you need to tell us where you installed it. This is rapidly going off-topic as it is not a Python issue per se.
