I get a 0 size file!

Actually, I wonder if the bacula-fd daemon has suitable permissions to access the files in question. I know the FD runs as root, but I remember that when running find operations on a Mac as root, I needed to continually give permission for terminal to access documents folder, calendar folder, etc.

You can't actually get full access (like root on UNIX) on MacOS. That's some freedom Apple won't give you. Personally I find this unacceptable, but my customers, of course, don't share my opinion. That said, I've been through all the hops to give bacula-fd as much power as it's possible: it currently has "full disk access" (which still means it cannot backup some things).

Still I get many "ERR=Operation not permitted" which are permission problems. If "ERR=Attribute not found" is also a permission problem, why a different error, then?

 bye & Thanks
