Thank you for this hint.
I'm using bat, the Restore button (for me the seventh in the row). And
as I said, I've missed something.
I checked it again. And after selecting the file to restore, the next
screen shows a field "To client:" and below there is a field "Where:". I
overlooked this completely.
Sorry for that. My problem seems to be solved with that.

Can you post the full bconsole session (everything from the restore command to
the final "OK to run? (Yes/mod/no)" prompt)?
