Hello,
It is a while since I have had to use Windows, but I do remember issues I had
when using Retrospect to back up several windows machines. There are several
comments I can make:
I always thought one drive folders were called OneDrive, you seem to have a
folder called OneDrive - The Delegates, which surprised me. This may have
changed with versions of Windows.
When I used Retrospect, I ignored the folder /Users/***/OneDrive, and this then
allowed me to carry out backups without any error messages
In general I don’t believe you can reliably back up the OneDrive folder as it
can easily be much larger than your host machine, Windows will move the files
backwards and forwards as required. If a user has several machines all using
the same Windows account (and hence the same OneDrive folder) the problems get
even bigger.
If you do want to back up the OneDrive folder, there is a program available
called rclone, which will copy files backwards and forwards from cloud
services. Thus on a separate machine you can copy the onedrive folder from the
cloud and then back that up. The TrueNAS system (previously FreeNAS) has a
system service to do this. Of course you do need the username and password to
set this up.
