Hello Mehrdad, this is in fact the only way Bacula works. :)

Bacula considers one Job name, one Client, and one Fileset a unit. Change any one of these and Bacula sees an entirely new unit requiring a Full backup before an incremental or a differential can be run.

was just wondering if there was a way to have them in
separate jobs, maybe save them on separate disks eventualy
The jobs that i have set up fail in that respect as i mentioned and
the diff job does not see the full job

What you would/could do in this case is one of a couple different things:

- Use the "FullBackupPool", "IncrementalBackupPool", and the "DifferentialBackupPool" settings in a Job so that each of these levels of Backups may be directed to different storage locations.

OR

- Set the "Level", "Storage", and "Pool" in each of your your schedule's "Run" l
ines.

Using the first method, you will need to set the "Storage" in each of these pools so that the correct disk location is always used regardless of the Pool selected.

Hope this helps,
Bill
