Good morning everyone,

Thank you for your response, Carsten. I think this is exactly what I hoped
for. A set of scripts would be available that took the binaries from Bacula's
a successful source code build and packed them into a Raspbian Bookwork
distribution's deb files. It looks as if everything I am going to need is in
the bacula/debian folder. I'll have more free time over the weekend. I'll be
in touch if I have any questions.

If that "bookworm" you mention refers to Debian bookworm, you can simply "apt
install bacula-fd", the director can backup older FDs.

Otherwise, the sources for Debian packaging of 15.0.2 can be found here in the
experimental branch:

https://salsa.debian.org/bacula-team/bacula/-/tree/experimental?ref_type=heads

It's stalled on testing the packages at the moment, so feedback is welcome.

Regards

Carsten
