Are you checking the client, or the director?  The attribute create 
error would probably be on the catalogue box, so I'd check your DB 
server or the director box if it's not using an external DB.  If you are 
using MySQL or Postgres, check their logs (either 
/var/log/mysqld/mysql.log or /var/log/syslog) to see if they show any 
errors around the time of the backup.

While this host has a great deal of files, the inode usage on Bacula shows 1% for my backup data partition, with 8.5T of 16T consumed; there's plenty of free storage as well. In short, I don't think it's a capacity issue.
