There is an option in Bacula that will allow you to retry the job execution if it fails. You can set how many times you try to execute the job and what is the time span between next tries. > On each day the bacula should check on which clients on the previous days > the backups didn't create correctly > > But Bacula allows you to create an extremely flexible backup schedule i.e. once an hour. > (for example, there are no working backups) and bacula should start backup > from these clients until it reaches computers > > where the backups are correctly created and then starts making new backups on > them. > > What does it mean? Could you elaborate? You can always check in the script the expected status of the backup jobs for all selected clients and force job execution from this script if all your above requirements are met. For some backup clients (i.e. mobile ones) I always found job retry a useful feature. best regards -- Radosław Korzeniewski rados...@korzeniewski.net
