Stefan, We tested the btape fill with our bacula_sd.conf pointing to the tape devise as nst instead of st in case this made a difference but sadly no, same error (after 2.3TB this time). Gary, That’s an interesting point, maybe we can switch to fiber connectors at some point but as the system is new that might be difficult to justify right now. However, we reached out to HPE in case this is indeed linked to a hardware issue. I will update for posterity if it turns out to be a hardware linked. We replaced the SCSI version with a Fibre-Channel version, and have had no problems since.
