I have a Centos 7 "backup server" (dir, sd, fd) that had been running Bacula 7.0 for a few years. That old Bacula install was from epel-bacula-7 repo.

Then, a few days ago I was forced to upgrade Bacula in this server (I got a newer client that didn't work with older server). The new 9.6.7 install is from bacula.org repo, and thus it uses a different directory structure.

Basically the new system seems to work, but it takes a considerable time to run a backup of itself, specifically of the root (/) filesystem. A backup that used to take 20 mins, now takes over an hour, for example.

Bacula working directory, catalog database files etc *should* be excluded from the fileset. No spooling in use. The conf is basically from the old 7.0 system, which used to work like a dream.

Has there been some changes to default values, for example?
Any ideas why all this started after the upgrade?
