This isn't actually the best way to do it if you're new to Linux.  You'd
need to first install and set up a complete development environment and
learn how to build Bacula from source, and that's a substantial learning
curve.

Instead, go to https://www.bacula.org/bacula-binary-package-download/,
register there (registration is free), and download the .deb packages
(Ubuntu is built on top of Debian foundations and uses the Debian
package system).  Then you can just use a standard Ubuntu/Debian package
manager to install the .deb packages.
