Hello, I have googled a bit on this and there is just a number of dated discussions, mainly on migrating from 5 to 7. So I am wondering if there is anyone who has gone through this process recently and would share some experience.
My plan: - Set up a separate system and install bacula director version 9. Then, copy the same configuration on 5.2.13 and also dump and import mysql data. - They update the schema for the new version: update_mysql_tables -u root -p - Update the bacula storage to version 9, same configuration - Leave the rest as they are today Would this be a proper procedure? Do I have to go to version 7, before upgrading again to version 9? Would be grateful for any comment, especially if you notice a problem in the above steps.
