Thanks this brought me further i now have an entry in my database! I used a small –p in stead of the upper –P
I also have the option of the database inserted and the BSR Now it is reading my tape! bscan -s -m -b "/var/lib/bacula/name_of.bsr" -c bacula-sd.conf -n bacula -u bacula -P"EncryptedPW" -v -V GKM187 /dev/nst0 Thanks a lot!
