Sorry I wasn't able to respond on Friday.
I'm using Ubuntu 16.04. I used depmod to install the st driver, but a search
doesn't show that the sg driver is available. The scsichanger and ibmtape
drivers are not used. Do I need the sg driver if the st drives is in place?
Lsscsi -g does show the tape drives and the changer.

As long as your OS sees them, bacula sees them.
What's your OS and what drivers are you using?
NB: On linux you _must_ use the sg and st drivers. Stay away from the
scsichanger and ibmtape drivers.
