The Regex directive belongs to the FileSet Options sub-resource (e.g., regex=string). I think it must work together with the Exclude=yes directive, so you should include File=/mnt/maildir and then use the regex to exclude (negate) the paths that you don't wanna to backup. About this, I might be completely wrong since I haven't used this feature for a while.
