Issues with the FreeBSD port should be raised via http://bugs.freebsd.org/
where it will come to my attention much faster.

A similar issue was reported at
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=212853
<https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=212853>

There is a known problem building from source, which I do not know how to
resolve.

The problem does not occur when installing from packages (e.g. 'pkg upgrade')

Sorry about that.
