Hello Stravros,
If you run into erro with a "status client" command from bconsole, there
are a few misconfigurations or issues that can lead into this situation.
One of them can be a network issue (firewalls, etc.). Have you checked if
you are able to telnet between director and client? You should be able to
telnet from director to client using port 9102 and from client to director
using por 9101 (or another one if you are not using the default ports).
Another issue can be wrong passwords configured in bacula-dir.conf and
bacula-fd.conf for the client machine.
Could you sent us the error messages that appears to you?
