Normally, when I do it manually, I can just re-do the "make install" and it will fix any installation problems. However in your case, I am not sure how you installed it. Cannot upgrade this database. It looks like your database has been properly updated, so the most likely problem is that some Bacula component is improperly installed. Make 100% sure you do not have two installation directories since you could then possibly be running an older version of Bacula. You could do: find / -name "bacula-dir" to see if there are multiple directors installed.
