Hi folks, I'm fighting quite hard on an issues which starts drivin' me crazy. I'm using bacula (7.2.0) on FreeBSD (10.1) with an HP G2 Autoload attached. btape tests run just fine but I got stuck at the point where I'm supposed to label the barcodes. When issuing the "label barcodes" command in bconsole, I receive:
> *label barcodes > Automatically selected Catalog: MyCatalog > Using Catalog "MyCatalog" > The defined Storage resources are: > 1: File > 2: TapeLibrary > Select Storage resource (1-2): 2 > Connecting to Storage daemon TapeLibrary at ...:9103 ... > Connecting to Storage daemon TapeLibrary at ...:9103 ... > 3306 Issuing autochanger "slots" command. > Device "G2-Changer" has 8 slots. > Connecting to Storage daemon TapeLibrary at ...:9103 ... > 3306 Issuing autochanger "list" command. > No Volumes found to label, or no barcodes. > You have messages. I just noticed, that the mtx command won't give me any VolumeTag information at all. > $> mtx -f /dev/pass1 status > Storage Changer /dev/pass1:1 Drives, 8 Slots ( 0 Import/Export ) > Data Transfer Element 0:Full (Storage Element 2 Loaded) > Storage Element 1:Full > Storage Element 2:Empty > Storage Element 3:Full > Storage Element 4:Full > Storage Element 5:Empty > Storage Element 6:Empty > Storage Element 7:Empty > Storage Element 8:Empty any help or hint is very much appreciated... kr Michael ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
