Hi, Not everyone can code. You don’t have to code in order to contribute to the Bacula project.
We could use more regression testing nodes. Regression testing is documented here: http://www.bacula.org/7.0.x-manuals/en/developers/Bacula_Regression_Testing.html#SECTION001510000000000000000 You can see the results here: re: http://regress.bacula.org/index.php?project=bacula&date=2014-12-22 I’m running 8 nodes, each testing a different database version (MySQL 5.6, PostgreSQL 9.4, etc). Some nodes test both Bacula 5 and Bacula 7. All run FreeBSD. We could use nodes running other operating systems. What in it for you? You ensure Bacula runs just fine on your operating system of choice. You help the development team catch bugs early. This saves everyone time and effort. If you encounter trouble setting up a regression node, please here and we’ll help you get through it. Once it’s set, it pretty much runs itself. — Dan Langille http://langille.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming!
