Hello, Backups "1 month back" is a time frame, not a time point. The time frame moves over the days of the month, regardless of full, differential, incremental backups running. Your backup definition has to taken into account this time frame. So in my opinion you need at least 2 full backup volumes and if I'm not wrong 5 differential volumes and something like 34 incremental volume files. And the volume retention should be something like
2 months for full backup pool 39 days for differential backup pool 38 days for incremental backup pool We work with this settings successfully for some years to have backups "1 month back". (And we don't use a file retention time).
