Hi, I'm trying to use Bacula to backup some Windows PC and I ran across a very strange behaviour: after a backup, the user's desktop background disappears, and a default background color (blue for XP, black for Seven) appears instead.
Even more strangely, hidden files on the desktop become visible! I'm almost sure it's not a matter of bad Windows update, because it only happens on the four computer I'm backing up currently: the other 40 I manage don't have this issue. I'm running Director 5.0.2 on Debian Squeeze, Storage 5.0.2 on a QNAP 869 (that's a NAS), and File 5.0.3 on a XP client and 5.2.10 on three Seven 64 clients. The only exception is a virtual XP whose FileSet doesn't use VSS. Could it be a VSS issue? Best regards. -- Andrea Giuliano, Ph. D.
