Hello Bacula Enthusiast, One of my backup client has a lot of files, so we decided a year ago only to backup this client 2 times a year. With a file/job delete policy of 190 days. And this turned out to work well.
But there is one issue with housekeeping, I have a lot of incremental backups which has no parent full backup and there is no need to keep them since there is a new one already. Is there an option to prune backups when there parent full backup is gone? If not is a housekeeping script the best option? Today I did it by hand (delete jobid=id, delete volume=volume and delete the volume file on the disk) Thanks!
