I switched on attribute spooling and now the job flies along until it gets to inserting attributes then it stops for ages. A virtual job that took 2 minutes to run is still inserting attributes 2 hours later. It is making progress, just very very slowly, and mysql is using lots of CPU. What could have gone wrong with my mysql to make this happen? I've tried rebooting it. How difficult is it to convert an existing installation over to postgresql? I've been meaning to do this for a while and it may be faster than trying to resolve the issue...
