To add to this, Bacula considers disk volumes the same way it considers tape volumes -- they're appended to only, until the limit. For tapes, the limit is the limit of the size of the tape. With disk volumes, it is your choice, but you can only expire entire volumes. I recommend a minimum of 3 in most cases. - -- - ---- _ _ _ _ ___ _ _ _ |Y#| | | |\/| | \ |\ | | |Ryan Novosielski - Sr. Systems Programmer |$&| |__| | | |__/ | \| _| |novos...@umdnj.edu - 973/972.0922 (2-0922) \__/ Univ. of Med. and Dent.|IST/EI-Academic Svcs. - ADMC 450, Newark -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with undefined - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlE5viIACgkQmb+gadEcsb6g4QCfd5BU+skf1wdo86j0Sgzuzk1E D/QAoN3Ksq2NAUEpZOEf3n1H9sZxNXB0 =IfQV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 positioned as A LEADER in The Forrester Wave(TM): Endpoint Security, Q1 2013 and "remains a good choice" in the endpoint security space.
