As a matter of fact I updated 2.4.4 in EPEL 5 a few days ago to solve
some long standing bugs.

Yes, you're missing some packages, the console and tray monitor one in fact.
Using yum to list the bacula packages will give you the whole list:

# yum list bacula\*

Version 2.4.4 of Bacula is unsupported upstream, this means you're
already setting up something really old. Unless you want to start
again or roll through multiple upgrades my suggestion is to start with
something newer.

Here you can find the latest Bacula that is in Fedora 17, 18 and
Rawhide backported also for the RHEL 5 and 6 distributions. Please
read the README files:

http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/slaanesh/bacula/README.txt
http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/slaanesh/bacula/

I update them as soon as a new build enters Fedora and try to support them here.
Any feedback is welcome.

Regards,
